Stopped in Oakland for lunch after visiting Swallow Falls. I generally have rather low expectations for food in small towns. It's usually good at the very best with most places being average or disappointing. I was pleasantly surprised to find the food here to be quite good! Everything I ate was really good and was fairly cheap. The portion sizes were definitely generous enough - not huge, but you're not going to leave hungry.
Came to Oakland for an art exhibition. This restaurant was a surprise. We shared mussels and salmon. Very good. Fresh and quality food
Food is well prepared ! Clean , fresh and well seasoned . Staff is friendly ! Place is clean . Atmosphere is ok . Prices fair . Waitresses good . Large parties ? I still recommend . Give it a try .
We are out of town vacationers who we're looking for something better then other places we've had in Oakland. This fine establishment far exceeded our expectations. The prices were fantastic! The food was exceptional! Also the service was some of the best we've had. I also do not want to forget to mention the desserts were something you would expect from a high end bakery. We look forward to making this place a regular stop on our yearly Deep Creek trip!
